Hells Kitchen in South Africa
15 million people live in the gateway to South Africa, but unfortunately we have to spend very little time here. For the rest of the group traveling all this would be his last night in South Africa before returning as I would have south into KwaZulu Natal for the second week in succession southern Africa.
We have audited Protea Balalaika Sandton in the hotel. I could not find the reason why the hotel has the same name a Russian stringed instruments so if someone can tell me, I want to know. After being landlocked in shoe stores much of the week the girls in our group went directly to the nearest mall, while I took the time to catch up mail and news through WiFi hotels.
Being the last night of FAM, everybody ate together in a restaurant next door. The food was excellent (as it had been all week) and the drink flowed. After the meal ended, he returned to the hotel bar and enjoyed a few bottles of Castillo incredibly dear price. Over time, we call it a night we had a final activity in Johannesburg, before returning at the airport, where the rest of my band and go home where I collect my rental car at the head of KwaZulu Natal.
Activity was organized by a cook out and Souflee Samp (Http: / / www.sampsouffle.com/). We found two other groups were also in Africa South during the last week and were then divided into three groups. The idea was that each group will prepare a course for a 3-course meal under the direction of a chief. Our group has been senior lecturer and make bread for the soup. The main course was venison (Impala) with an assortment vegetables and paddle (mostly mashed sweet corn). Our group worked well together and what appeared to be a very pleasant meal, it is surprising how little time and effort that really had to do. Things like this make you understand how we are lazy when it comes to food convenience. Proper cooking actually does not take long and it was very fun.
All food prices have was wonderful and the end of it, we had time to chat and relax it was a good way to end a great week. We also presented a few moments of the day, an apron, oven gloves, a jar of salsa, a set of barbecue tools, and brochures. With time pressing, we loaded and headed to the airport. From there, my new found friends would return to the United Kingdom and want to continue my adventures in South Africa for a week.
