Frigidaire electronic ignition does not work?
I have a Frigidaire dual fuel range (with options convection) and ignition e on stove burners do not work. You know what usually turns on the burner to "Lite" and it goes " click click "and the lights? mine did not click on it, there is no spark. I checked the pattern wiring at Frigidaire and does not mention any kind of internal fuse (which was also requested, I see no fuses), then why would they suddenly stop function? I heard a pop when cooking a turkey for Easter, and after that I was not able to start the burners. The part of the oven works great (dual fuel, electric oven SO) and the switch trip was not in my control panel. The power of this light is clearly taking 40amp line is the power to enter the range. If anyone knows what is wrong, or what part should be replaced, let me know. For the moment I am manually light the burners by hand (with a barbecue lighter) Thanks
electronic ignition module is bad and must be replaced …. If you look at the wiring diagram should show this unit to your dealer frigidare … should be able to provide this part …. you should be able to change … and make sure the unit is off before attempting any repairs.
