NuWave Oven Pro coming to dinner

When our family finances dictated that I return to work, many things have changed in our house. The annoying me the most was my inability to continue to cook a dinner for the family to sit down and really enjoy. dinner was always special for us. Maybe we're just old fashioned, but it was a time we were all together and rehashing the events of the day … good or bad. My new job quickly took the form of home away from cooking our evening meal and, possibly, we It all started eating fast food dinners in the microwave before the TV.

When I expressed my concern about loss of time for the family of my mother, she reminded me the target = "_self" title = "NuWave Oven Pro"> Oven Pro NuWave bought years ago after seeing the advertising Vista and a TV spot. I find the product on the Internet, he bought and wants to share my experience in the kitchen.

OVEN PRO
If I have not heard of him, The NuWave Oven Pro is a kitchen counter that uses infrared, conduction and convection defrosting and cooking. Because it uses all three methods of cooking, food is cooked in a much shorter time. The meat is tender and juicy if cooked in a regular oven, and not just the meat more tender, but the exterior can be golden and crisp. Secondary benefits are to reduce energy costs because of less time cooking, less fat and oils, because of the basin and built in easy to clean.

favorite dishes
The oven comes with great recipes that Pro are ideal for a family in March. I used to cook the chicken, BBQ ribs, fish and even a Thanksgiving turkey last. I bought all the accessories including the extension ring that gives you more height for cooking, so 10 pounds turkey are good. I followed the instructions, and 2.5 hours, I had a beautiful golden turkey that was cooked to perfection. Another favorite is corn on the cob. It is much better than corn .. traditionally boiled and faster too!

Together Again
So now, almost every day I am able to gather the family together again for dinner at a real home cooked food. The target = "_self" title = "NuWave Oven Pro> NuWave Oven Pro has been a pleasure to use, tasty, healthy meals prepared in a short time even. Including vessels, I guess I spent about $ 185. for everything. Supplied with a medium pizza cookbook, directions, a drive instruction, mixers and bought two rings further extension. This oven was worth about dollars in savings in time in the kitchen, and helped us get our coexistence in the table for a good meal health. You really can not put a price on that!

Things to do with bread dough & Sauces to put in veggie pocket?

Hello everyone,
I am making bread, but I’m kind of sick of just basic bread, so I found a recipe for veggie pockets, where you essentially just fill the pocket with rice and veggies, then seal it and bake it.
Not that this doesn’t sound delicious and healthy, but I wonder if any of you have ideas for what sauces or creamy foods..(that would go with veggies) I could use to fill it that would help them not to be so dry and bland. The only thing I can think of is some kind of cheese sauce.
I also have chicken.. maybe BBQ or Teriyaki chicken pockets?

I usually just make:
-basic bread
-cinnamon rolls
-rolls
-scones
-bread sticks
-pizza
-buns
-french bread
-texas toast
If any of you have creative and delicious ideas for what to do with bread dough I would love to hear them!

You can do beef stew or a lot of leftovers. If you’ve ever had a midwestern pastie, you can start to see the possibilities. Cooked rutabaga, potatoes, parsnips, carrots, onions in either a meaty sauce or a thickened onion or lentil broth.

I did some fish tarts by mixing sardines in hot sauce with red chilis, onions and cheese. Made a strong, fishy appetizer.

Tomato sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms and cheese you have Stromboli.

Garlic, oil, and a variety of roasted root vegetables make good ones.

Chili. Sort of aiming for an empanada, except I didn’t fry them.

Leftover Indian food. I have a lentil curry that has worked well. Leftover Chinese seemed less successful.

Lentils make a nice “beefy” broth when you over cook them, add some instant mashed potatoes to thicken them to the right consistency.

Baked beans. An experiment based upon a large dough recipe and well, having a half pan of baked beans to use up. I added some cheese and fresh tomatoes.

About the only firm rule is to use cooked ingredients. Unless something is very delicate, the fifteen minutes using simple doesn’t really blend the flavors, the way the long cooking of say a pie would.
