Need ideas for family BBQ?
This coming weekend will be nice, I am inviting a group of "family" (Friends Cousins, etc.) in my area for a barbecue with us on the lake. We take our barbecue and basically spend all day in the park. With that said, I tried to get lunch and dinner plan. I have a vague idea of what we serve. I do not look at anything the day before in the house since I thought to do a lot of baking anyway. I am more curious then anything. . BUT! . . What do you serve a family barbecue? There will be about. 20 people, if that matters at all. Thank you in advance for your ideas. =)
I want to minimize the mayonnaise if the food is packaged in coolers. I do a lot of fresh fruit, fries, vegetable salad (the dressing in the freezer) and I would grill a lot of legs BBQ Chicken (Who does not like barbecue chicken thighs – as well as vegetarians?). I also want to make the skewers and grilled vegetables shooting. Peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, zucchini. Even the asparagus is nice. You can grill fruit! peaches and plums on the grid are divine.
