I have a friend that I have been friends since we met in Atlanta, Georgia in the sixth grade and graduated from high school in 1985, when we were friends for some time. Anyway, life goes on as I moved to Florida and moved elsewhere, but we kept in touch, then he Three years ago, I was very excited when I said he was heading to the west coast of Florida. The next day we went to visit someone's house other, two other houses, in fact, Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. In 1885, Thomas Edison first visited Florida and as I said, he loved the area until it that in 1886 built a house in winter is here called "Seminole Lodge." The Edison Museum and 14 acres of surrounding land were used during the winter by Edison until his death in 1931. In 1947, Ms. Edison donated the farm to the city of Fort Myers and in November the same year, the estate was opened to the public.

Over the next 15 years, Ford and Edison spent his winters and warm, family and friends at their beautiful estate in Fort Myers. In 1988, Ford was House by the city of Fort Myers and has also been open to the public in 1990.
The grounds are really beautiful, the gardens and the houses are spectacular, and a Banyan tree is very famous. The laboratories are fascinating, and everything remained as Edison or Ford comes out of the room, at least tried to stay as faithful as possible. We had only gone to visit my friend for the weekend too soon it was time to leave, but I enjoyed my stay in Fort Myers, What a beautiful little town. I am also pleased my friend had found a place where she felt good and I saw in the prospect of an invitation.
