Kansas City BBQ … I'm missing something i. HELP!?
Anyone know why KC barbecue is supposed to be the best "BBQ?" I was sent for Gates. Boy, if you want fries and sauce great. Who cares about the sauce. I'm from central Texas, where the sauce is not considered a food group. If someone has a better idea which is different from Gates I'm for it. We travel in our RV in KC, St. Louis, Chicago, etc. I need now Texas BBQ. Anyone know of another place other than Gates BBQ is supposed to be, and at least better than Gates? Or is it?
There are many excellent BBQ joint KC and get a variety of opinions on the best. Kansas City BBQ pit is mainly thick sauce mixed with molasses. Some of the places I personally like Arthur Bryant 18th and Brooklyn, The Legends shopping center and the airport. For Texas style BBQ, so I, but Omaha is more style, try Dave fame in the Power & Light District or the Legends shopping center. It seems that the famous Dave has taken the best of Carolina, Memphis, Texas, St. Louis, Omaha and created a menu and sauces for all tastes of the person, to prove Texas style sauce spitting demons
