Healthy Bbq Dishes

Is this your way of cooking healthy outdoor grill? Is there another way to barbecue?

It's that time of year. The buds appear on trees and shrubs, the sun shows its face more and more. The British are deepening in their tool sheds, brush their tools and dragging the lawn mower its overwintering. Garden lovers in the United Kingdom are eager to spend time outside, taking the fresh air and restart the traditional summer pastime in Britain – the barbecue. But wait – did you think of the Hazzard of your barbecue? Is it healthy food BBQ?

Charcoal is the traditional old favorite is still used by many irreducible who swear that the real taste of food comes from the grill with charcoal only. But did you know that some coals contain chemicals to make it burn better? The inhalation of chemicals not a good idea. And the burning of coal releases large amounts of carbon monoxide. In Japan, the preferred method of suicide recent years is wood charcoal. Strange but true! It was burned in a small unventilated room and someone dies of carbon monoxide poisoning carbon. Apart from death, carbon monoxide can cause serious illness and is particularly dangerous for pregnant women (unborn child). It is interesting thinking when he leaned over the grill, cook burgers and sausages! How carbon monoxide is inhaled? How your family and friends in breathing?

And what is the source of coal? Most people do not give a second thought on where your little (or not so little) pockets of fuel comes when purchasing products at the supermarket or the local garage. Those who wonder their origin, will probably try to imagine a forest ecological Sussex, produced by a certain type fellow eco-warrior who is in the methods traditional charcoal, while maintaining the forest love and planting new trees to replace trees were used. And the Forestry Commission and other regulatory bodies will ensure that everything is done in a manner respectful of the environment – right? Well, actually, the coal can be produced in this way. But the truth is that ninety percent of the charcoal used in the United Kingdom has almost 12,000 miles. No, this is not a bad impression. 12.000 miles away! Most charcoal is produced in South Asia or South America. When people are incentive to reduce their carbon footprint, how does it make sense to transport fuel barbecue here? And do not occur in a manner respectful of the environment. Tropical forests are being depleted at an alarming rate and are not replaced.

Many of you are very happy and said:''I I'm fine, I use a gas barbecue!''But it is sure to gas? Is it healthy? Well, actually, the gas is considered very safe to cook at home (with the exception of fire or explosion odd), but what about the barbecue? Well, there is a problem …. Some studies have concluded that the direct heat cooking and eating charred food may increase cancer risk. The problem is the combination of meat with the intense heat. In red meat, poultry protein substances and seafood, muscle these foods react at high temperature to form compounds carcinogens called heterocyclic amines (HCA). HCA can damage the DNA in our genes to initiate the process of development cancer. A study has shown that people who consume more red meat for the barbecue (beef, pork and lamb) almost doubled the risk of polyps colon compared to those who do not eat these foods. Colon polyps can become colon cancer.

Steam vegetables / salad and chicken with a lado. store bought / pesto fresh mozzarella. Making cheese style. Chicken Pizza and cheese, BBQ chicken pizza (I use Pillsbury ready-made dough in the refrigerated section of Crescent rolls / biscuits) Basically, the more way is to do a lot of everything, when you time, and eat leftovers when they do.
