Is it alright to use a grill that’s been outside for 2 years?
We have an Outdoor Grill that uses Charcoal and is lit by a gas tank. It hasn’t been in use for over 2 years and I wanted to use it again for a BBQ. It’s been outside during all seasons – sweltering heat as well as bitter cold. Is it still safe to use?
It probably is, a good wire brushing will clean up the grates, test and check the burners and see if your gas cylinder still has gas in it, if it doesn’t you’ll have to get a full tank or have yours refilled. Lite it up and let it go on high for about 10 min.s and test it out before using it.
